Responsibilities

Interns work specifically with assisting a variety of transactions. The internship is an excellent opportunity to work alongside investment bankers in a stimulating environment on various M&A, Debt or Equity advisory assignments for clients in various industries.

As an intern, you will work within the generalist team and have the opportunity to gain valuable on-the- job training throughout your internship, gaining similar levels of exposure as a first-year analyst.  You will assist in the preparation of materials for clients, conduct market, industry and company analyses.  Furthermore you will gain experience in financial modelling, valuation analyses, support the due diligence processes on the buy side and sell side process and work as part of a project team.

Requirements/Qualifications 

  • You must either be an under graduate, in your penultimate or final year of study, or studying for a Masters, and or a fresh 2018 graduate

  • You will have a strong academic track record and must be studying for, or achieved, a degree in accounting, economics and or finance related major.
  • Have an understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies and applications
  • Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills, along with excellent attention to detail 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential
  • A demonstrated interest in M&A
  • Previous internship experience within investment banking and / or related fields  is preferrred
  • International experience is also desirable, but not essential
  • You must be motivated and have the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment
  • Working permit ( student visa or IANG) in Hong Kong is required
  • Internship period is expected to be 3 to 6 months (full time) starting in early- to mid-August, 2018
