About the programme
Work-Study Degree Programmes allow students to acquire deep technical and essential generic skills, which will facilitate the students’ transition from the universities to the workplace after graduation.

This is achieved by companies and universities co-designing and co-delivering vocational training that closely interconnects theory and practice. We reinforce learning by applying newly-acquired knowledge in the workplace.

This program is open to year 3 & 4 students and will be involved in a 4 or 4.5 days’ work week program over a course of 1 to 1.5 years. We strive to deliver this experience through structured on-the-job training (OJT) and institution-based courses.

At the end of the program, you will gain valuable industry experience and deepen workplace skills, with industry-recognized certification. In addition, you will be exposed to company context and culture, and be better-equipped to take on company job roles.

Your Training
You will be working directly with diverse range corporate customers alongside our Commercial Bankers. You will hone your skills in the different segments of our business while developing a deeper working knowledge of the Commercial Bank space.
As a Commercial Banking Work Study Employee, you will gain exposure to our key business functions, including:

  • Credit Analysis - Analysing business and credit risks of clients for the extension of credit facilities. This includes mitigating the identified risks associated with the client.

  • Relationship Management - Supporting the RM from the point of origination & deal structuring to add value to the customer solution especially from a credit/policy perspective, and to facilitate revenue growth of the portfolio.

  • Business Development – Assist in driving various business initiatives to acquire and grow our portfolio of clients locally and regionally, and to monitor the development and success of these initiatives.

Eligibility & Requirements
The ideal candidate should be pursuing the 3rd or 4th year of the degree programme from a renowned university, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and high proficiency in MS Office suite. In addition, the candidate should have the ability to work in a multi-cultural organization.
