    Summary

    The MCC Department of Compact Operations (DCO) is recruiting for the Student Volunteer Internship Program. Internships are provided for students with a desire to work in the international development field and/or public sector and assignments are designed to complement the intern's educational pursuits while meeting the expressed needs of the agency and individual MCC departments.

    Responsibilities

    As a student volunteer intern, your work assignment will include:

    GSI program analysis:

    • Review evaluations of past MCC programs and compile gender-related outcomes and lessons.
    • Support other tasks as needed related to MCC efforts to track, report, and learn from investments that directly impact women's economic empowerment.
    GSI Communications and knowledge management:
    • Collect information on MCC's current and upcoming investments supporting women's economic empowerment.
    • Draft concise summaries, success stories, and case studies on MCC's investments tailored to different audiences.
    • Support tasks related to strengthening a community of practice among partner country gender directors, including helping to organize an online best practices forum with local partner country gender directors.
