    Summary

    CPSC is seeking recent graduates with the desire work in the consumer product safety field.  This position is located in the Office of Compliance and Field Operations, Division of Resources Management.  The Division is responsible for implementing programs that identify and address potential hazards to the health and safety of children and families from products which contain defects.

    Responsibilities

    This position reports to the Program Manager of the Division of Resources Management (CRM). The incumbent will serve as the Program Analyst responsible for:

    • Conducts a broad range of analytical and evaluative functions associated with Commission policies
    • Supports data requests for International office
    • Assists the Resources management team with developing performance statistics and measures for the entire office.
    • Conduct user acceptance testing for newly developed IT systems
    • Prepare data presentations for the Director and Deputy Director as necessary
    • Assists with data analysis on complex compliance cases to establish potential hazard patterns.
