    Serves as a Junior Entry-Level (GG-07) /Developmental Management Specialist performing with formal/informal classroom and on-the-job training progressively leading towards the full performance level for the Intelligence Support Branch, Intelligence Department, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps. This position is located in Arlington VA in theHQ US MARINE CORPS.

    Responsibilities

    • Utilize a basic knowledge of all applicable DoD, SECNAV, OPM, USDI, CIPOINST, and HQMC policies and procedures.
    • Apply practical knowledge gained from the Defense Civilian Personnel System (DCIPS) to assist in recruiting talent and developing metrics to track civilian demographics, attrition rate, and hiring actions
    • Assist in providing coordination, metrics, and reviewing support for all efforts involving the Marine Corps Action Tracking System requests.
    • Assist in managing the Human Capital (HC) website to provide the civilian workforce with educational opportunities and benefit information.

    Qualifications

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following duties such as: 1) Assisting in the preparation of analysis or assessment reports used by management to make personnel hiring and re-organization decisions; 2) Reviewing all documents to ensure new employees have completed all hiring, pay roll, and benefit forms; 3) Assisting in providing coordination, metrics, and review support for all efforts involving Tracking System requests.

    Have a degree in Human Resources, Human Development, Organizational Development, Leadership, Social Sciences (Political Science, Sociology, etc.) or similar degree categories.
