BAAM is seeking a Treasury / Middle Office Operations intern to assist in the daily operational and cash functions. Candidates should exhibit strong technical and analytical skills as well as exceptional communication skills. Candidates should be energetic, self-motivated, and a team-oriented individual with fresh ideas and innovative solutions who will thrive on challenge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Perform daily cash reconciliations for all bank counterparties
- Process and monitor borrowing activity, interest costs and fee calculations associated with financing lines of credit
- Prepare and review cash payment instructions for daily transaction activity of investment vehicles
- Daily interaction and communication with custodians
- Assist with the preparation of various management reports including FX exposure analysis, credit facility usage and credit facility portfolio covenants
- Execution and reconciliation of monthly trading activity to hedge fund managers and custodians
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting preferred
