    Summary

    This position is located at the Mashpee Indian Health Clinic, Mashpee, MA. This position will perform a full range of housekeeping/custodial cleaning duties in accordance with housekeeping procedures and methods under the supervision of the designated service unit supervisor.

    Complete daily checklist of completed custodial/housekeeping related duties.
    Stocks areas with paper supplies, linen, soap, and required chemicals.
    Removes non-infectious and infectious wastes such as biological materials, blood and other body fluids appropriately.
    Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and maintain floors such as tile, carpet, and linoleum.
    Adheres to policies for patient confidentiality and standards of conduct at all times.

    Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee. IHS may offer newly-appointed Federal employees credit for their directly related previous non-federal experience or active duty uniformed military service. This credited service can be used in determining the rate at which they earn annual leave is earned.
