It supports the organisation through productivity, simplification, and innovation - getting us ready for the changing nature of the workforce in banking and as we become more client-centric and high-performing.


About the programme


Work-Study Degree Programmes allow students to acquire deep technical and essential generic skills, which will facilitate the students’ transition from the universities to the workplace after graduation.


This is achieved by companies and universities co-designing and co-delivering vocational training that closely interconnects theory and practice.  We reinforce learning by applying newly-acquired knowledge in the workplace.


This program is open to year 3 & 4 students and will be involved in a 4 or 4.5 days’ work week program over a course of 1 to 1.5 years. We strive to deliver this experience through structured on-the-job training (OJT) and institution-based courses.


At the end of the program, you will gain valuable industry experience and deepen workplace skills, with industry-recognized certification.  In addition, you will be exposed to company context and culture, and be better-equipped to take on company job roles.


Your Training


You will be working directly with diverse group of stakeholders alongside our Human Resource Professionals. You will hone your skills in the different segments of our Human Resource Functions while developing a deeper working knowledge of Human Resource strategy.


As a Human Resource Work Study Employee, you will gain exposure to our key functions, including:


Talent, Learning and Culture:

Talent is responsible for processes around talent identification, succession management and development planning, assessment and Diversity and Inclusion.

Learning works closely with the relevant business, function and regional heads to determine learning requirements and is responsible for designing, building and delivering the appropriate learning agenda and programmes.


Performance, Reward and Conduct:

Reward is responsible for performance management processes and products and the end to end delivery of payroll, benefits and pensions, taking risk and control and conduct into consideration, including compliance with regulations.

Employee Relations (ER) is responsible for thought-leadership and design of products and intervention in relation to ER, employee speak-up and grievance management and conduct.

Eligibility & Requirements



The ideal candidate should be pursuing the 3rd or 4th year of the degree programme from a renowned university, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and high proficiency in MS Office suite.  In addition, the candidate should have the ability to work in a multi-cultural organization.
