Your Role and Responsibilities
Work with an elite team driving research and development of the industry’s most advanced quantum computing hardware and software and helping our clients research quantum computing applications for their most pressing business challenges.

Intended degree: In-progress BS/MS/PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related fields, with a focus on quantum information, computation, or algorithms

Job responsibilities:
- Participate in client projects working toward commercial applications of quantum computing on near-term quantum devices
- Work with IBM's quantum computing applications researchers to do research or write code leveraging IBM's Qiskit programming stack


Candidate attributes:
- Willingness to learn complex technical topics

Required technical/professional expertise
- Experience using Python
- Use of (or exposure to) the Qiskit quantum computing framework
- Coursework or projects in quantum information, computation, or algorithms


Preferred technical/professional expertise
- Experience using git/GitHub
- Research experience in a technical field
