    This position is located in Southern Arizona Office

    This is an indefinite, Excepted Service appointment that may continue if you continue to meet the eligibility requirements under the Pathways Internship program and funding is available. Interns may be eligible for non-competitive conversion to permanent employment.

    The incumbent can expect to work with higher graded IT Specialists to perform basic assignments related to computer equipment and software. This opportunity is designed to develop broader knowledge and skills needed to perform a variety of entry-level work under structured supervision. Examples of the types of duties include:

    • Assist users by installing, configuring, and setting up computers, peripheral equipment, and software.
    • Operating computers and programs to perform limited data entry, editing program execution, data and/or file retrieval. Operating computer peripheral equipment and distributed data systems via PC's, and assists with a variety of programming applications/processes.
    • Reviewing new and modified web pages for proper formatting and consistency with the organization's guidelines and standards.
    Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
