Equity Capital Market Advisory

The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Advisory practice provides truly independent (i.e. free from potential investor-client or lending conflicts) expert advice to help clients maximise value through their IPO or sell down process whilst reducing risk. Our advice spans the full transaction process, from early stage planning, business plan reviews and equity story development to bank syndicate selection, overall transaction management, marketing strategy and tactics, valuation and the allocation of shares to the right investors. We add value on the full range of public equity transactions e.g. IPOs, capital raises for listed clients, sell-downs and demergers. The team has recently launched and is in an exciting start up mode. Members of the team have raised over $70bn in equity for clients in either bookrunner or adviser roles, including leading advice on 15 successful IPOs in the last c.5 years and numerous dual track situations.

The team sits within the broader Capital Markets Group which is comprised of c.40 professionals globally providing independent solutions and access to alternative capital providers, where appropriate, to help maximise clients’ financial flexibility over the long term.
