    Responsibilities

    • Pathways Internship positions provide for development and training. Assignments become more responsible as incumbent increases knowledge and skills through work experience and academic training.
    • Provide assistance to higher level personnel while becoming familiar with the operation, design characteristics, maintenance procedures, and standards of equipment.
    • Learn basic methods, techniques, and procedures along with the performance of work of limited scope and complexity in an engineering and scientific area.
    • Become familiar with analyzing, presenting, and extracting data from a variety of non-standard sources while recognizing errors which are readily apparent in documents and performing a variety of standardized tests.
    • Conduct background research to gather data on processes, procedures, manuals, and operations utilizing applicable and available resources for current state status.
    • Follow detailed process/work instructions concerning direct observation of work processes.
