    Summary

    DON Pathways Internship Program

    You will serve as a DON PATHWAYS STUDENT INTERN (BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY) in the SHIP DELIVERY PROCESS TEAM (151), DDG-1000 PROJECT OFFICE of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.

    The Pathways Program is work experience that provides an opportunity for students to pursue work that is relevant and beneficial to their academic studies

    Responsibilities

    • You will integrate Earned Value Management (EVM) data to assist with providing a comprehensive assessment of production progress to contract milestones.
    • You will perform shipboard investigation with senior Progressor or supervisor to perform physical progress checks aboard ship and in shops.
    • You will determine percentage of completion of labor and material associated with schedule/cost impacting equipment and systems.
    • You will assist senior Progressor or supervisor with validation of Contractor payment invoices in support of Code 400.
    • You will assist senior Progressor with development of the Quarterly Vessel report for all assigned ship programs.
    • You will provide inputs to senior Progressor to assist with the development of comprehensive and thorough management reports, briefings, presentation and recommendations to the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Program Office Representatives and staff.
    • You will provide input and assistance to the senior Progressor for analysis of ship progress based on both shipbuilder provided progress data and physical observations.
    • You will provide assistance for the through and timely variance analysis of production products/schedules.
