    NIST currently has an internship position located in the NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR). The person selected will perform on-the-job industrial hygiene training assignments.

    This is a Student Internship opportunity under the Pathways Program.

    Incumbent will perform industrial hygiene surveys, inspections, or investigations of work areas, assist with occupational/industrial hygiene health assessments of work practices/conditions and to recommend controls to eliminate and minimize the identified hazards, and assist with the inventory of chemicals, SDS (safety data sheet) management, and safety policy review.

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel - Conferences, meetings and training.
