    Summary

    These positions are in the Pathways Internship Program at the San Francisco Regional Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provide support in the area of administrative services.  There is one (1) position available with the Office of the Regional Director and one (1) position available with the Division of Risk Management Supervision (RMS).

    Responsibilities

    The incumbent provides a variety of administrative and clerical duties in support of the mission and functions of the office. These duties may include, but are not limited to, performing a variety of special projects, generating routine reports, performing data entry using a variety of database software, responding to routine questions, establishing and maintaining records, and compiling information on the financial technology industry.

    Occasional travel – Occasional travel may be required.

    The applicant selected will be offered an excepted appointment not-to-exceed one (1) year and through continued eligibility, may be extended by one (1) additional year for no more than two (2) years total based on management needs.

    Applicant must be able to work part-time during the school year (at least 12 hours per week) and full-time during the summer in the San Francisco Regional Office.

    Salary stated above is per year. Salary earned will be based on actual time worked.  Per hour salary is $19.84.

    (*Note: The salary estimate reflected on this job announcement is based on 2018 FDIC pay data. Once the 2019 pay changes have been finalized, the salary will be updated to reflect the 2019 FDIC pay adjustments.)
