    Summary

    A successful candidate in this position will serve as a Program Analyst charged with reviewing effectiveness, quality, timeliness, and efficiency of work requirements, and processes. The incumbent will also analyze legislation, regulations, policy, precedent and the effect of these requirements on assigned programs, projects, or areas of responsibility and supports multi-appropriation programs, projects, activities, and the effective integration of site planning and budget development.

    Responsibilities

    This is a developmental position with promotion potential to the GS-0343-13. At the lower levels, the selectee will perform developmental assignments under closer supervision than required at the full performance level of GS-13. Assignments become progressively more difficult until the next performance level is reached.

    As a GS 9 Program Analyst, you will:

    • Assist with routine budget activities
    • Assist with analyzing, operational activities and capital asset projects to determine effectiveness
    • Assist with developing procedures and systems for assessing the effectiveness of programs/ management processes

    Travel Required

    Occasional travel – Occasional Travel may be required.
