The primary purpose of this position is: This is a formal Air Force civilian training position, established under the PALACE Acquire (PAQ) program. As such, it is centrally managed and funded by the Air Force Personnel Center, Force Renewal and Development Directorate and administered by the Security Career Field Team, HQ AFPC/DPIBB, JBSA-Randolph TX 78150-4530.

Provides assistance on staff assistance visits and staff surveys for serviced activities. Participate in conducting industrial security visits for on-site visitor groups. Schedules and assists with conducting recurring surveys for the establishment and maintenance of controlled areas.
Administers elements of the security education program. Researches and develops educational materials to assist users in implementing security countermeasures. Assists in evaluating the security education program and provides recommendations and corrective actions as required. Reviews annual security training requirements of serviced activities.
Assists with maintenance and processing of Security Information Files. Provides assistance and guidance on security clearance eligibility. Ensures, with supervision, the applicable inquiries/investigators are conducted for all security violations. Assists in classification reviews and damage assessments. Through supervisory channels, notifies appropriate investigative agencies when criminal activity is suspected. Assist in processing security police incident and OSI reports of investigation.
Occasional travel – You may be expected to travel for this position.

QualificationsAny individual who completed all requirements for an associate, bachelor, master, professional, or doctorate degree from a qualifying educational institution within the previous two years or will complete these requirements by 28 Feb 2019 meets the basic requirement to apply for the Recent Graduate Program;
-OR-Any veteran released or discharged from active duty within the previous two years, but due to a military service obligation, was precluded from applying for a recent graduate position during any portion of the two-year eligibility period following completion of applicable degree, and not more than six years have transpired since completing the requirements for the degree
