    Summary

    These positions are located in Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park, in the Visitor Services Division, and is responsible for collecting and accounting for fees.

    Temporary appointment not-to-exceed one year but m­ay be extended each year without further competition, if you continue to meet the eligibility requirements under the Pathways Internship program and funding is available.

    Responsibilities

    Collecting appropriate fees at entrance station, including entrance fees, and Park Pass Fees.
    Serves as a front line representative of the Park.
    Performs minor maintenance duties to insure a clean, safe work area for employees and visitors.
    Monitors campgrounds, parking areas, trails, and roads to ensure safety for visitor.
    Operates and uses recreation.gov
    Uses and operates Microsoft Word and Excel.
    Support current projects in regards to visitor services.
